Setup Google Analytics for Your Website

If you own a website but have not signed up and configured Google Analytics, it's time to consider setting it up.  Google Analytics can provide invaluble insights into your website's visitors including demographic, behaviors and activities performed on your website.

Google has recently launched Google Analytics 360 Suite.  This is not to be confused with the free Google Analytics Standard service.  Google Analytics 360 Suite is geared towards large enterprises whereas the free standard edition is more than adequate for most small to medium sized companies.

Most of the market leaders in BI software sector such as Tableau and Spotfire support direct connection to Google Analytics to export data for further analytics.  I highly recommend signing up for the free standard edition if you are new to Google Analytics.
